1. Who we are
This website, fintechden.com, is run by ROMBI PIXEL LTD, trading as Fintech Den™ ("we", "us" or "our"). We're a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15947340), with our registered office at Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. You can contact us at contact@rombipixel.com.
2. Using our website
By using our website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Our website is for businesses and professionals. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, and we don't promise that it will always be available or free from errors.
3. Our services
Nothing on our website is an offer to provide services. We work only under a written agreement signed by both sides: usually a master services agreement, a statement of work for each project, and a data processing agreement where we handle personal data for you. If anything on our website conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement applies.
Descriptions of our services, first projects and ways of working are general. The scope, price, timeline and acceptance criteria for any project are set out in a written proposal or statement of work. Unless we say otherwise, prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT where it applies, and quotes are valid for 30 days. We work on Central European Time and reply to enquiries within one working day.
We build and support technology. We don't give legal, regulatory, tax or financial advice, and you remain responsible for your own regulatory decisions and obligations.
4. Information on our website
Content on our website and in our white papers is general information. It isn't legal, regulatory, tax or financial advice, and you shouldn't rely on it as if it were. Rules change often. We try to keep our content accurate and up to date, but we don't promise that it's complete or current, so please take professional advice before acting on it.
5. Intellectual property
We, or the people who license content to us, own the intellectual property in our website and its content, including text, designs, graphics and logos, and in our white papers. Fintech Den™ is our trading name and brand.
You may view our website, and download, print and share our white papers in full for your own internal business use, as long as you keep our name and copyright notice on them. You may not change them, sell them or use them commercially without our written permission.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use our website for anything unlawful or fraudulent
- try to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server it runs on or any connected system
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material, or attack our website, including with denial-of-service attacks
- copy or scrape our content in bulk, or use automated tools in a way that affects how our website works for others
Breaking these rules may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We may report it to the relevant authorities and work with them.
7. Links to other websites
Our website links to other websites, such as regulators, standards bodies and news sources, for information only. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for their content or availability.
8. Viruses and security
We take reasonable steps to keep our website secure, but we can't guarantee it's free from bugs or viruses. Please use your own virus protection.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to that, because our website is free to use and provided for information only, we aren't liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, our website, or from relying on its content. In particular, we aren't liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, for business interruption, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
Our liability for services we provide is set out in the signed agreement for those services, not in these terms.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data, and our Cookie Policy explains how our website uses cookies.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, so please check this page each time you use our website.
12. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them or your use of our website, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. This doesn't change what a signed agreement for our services says about governing law.
13. Contact us
